Two Electric Type Injection Molding Machines on Exhibit at "DMP 2013"

- NISSEI PLASTIC INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD. will be exhibiting at the "15th DMP Dongguan International Plastics, Packaging & Rubber Exhibition (DMP2013)," which will be held in Dongguan, China, from November 13th to 16th. NISSEI will exhibit two electric type injection molding machines for the manufacturing of IT-related devices, for which demands are projected to increase in China.
The machines that will be exhibited at DMP2013 are Taicang factory-made "NEX80ⅢT-5E" and high-speed & high-pressure specification "NEX220Ⅲ-18EN." Both machines will demonstrate the production of IT-related parts in order to win new orders from IT-related industries since the demands are expected to recover around next spring in Chinese market.
Demonstration machines:
1. Electric Type Injection Molding Machine "NEX80ⅢT-5E"
This is one of the Taicang factory-made electric injection molding machines "NEX-ⅢT Series" with a clamping force of 784kN (80 ton). As an example of an automated hoop insert molding system using a horizontal injection molding machine, molding of LED reflector (704 cavities) will be demonstrated.
Generally, vertical injection molding machines are used for hoop molding since it is easier to build a molding system with pre- and post-processes. However, general purpose horizontal injection machines are often used for hoop molding in China. In order to make their superior high-precision multi-cavity production capability, high yield performance, affordability, space-saving advantage, and energy-efficiency appealing to the LED reflector manufacturing businesses, NISSEI will showcase the China-made general purpose horizontal injection machine with a special auto reel and hoop feeder.
The greatest feature of NEX-ⅢT Series is a new controller "TACT Ⅳ." New controller "TACT Ⅳ" is equipped with a larger screen, newly designed operation panel, and convenient & easy-to-use premium software, offering improved workability/operability and reinforced quality/production management functions.

2. 15-inch vertical LCD display can arrange two windows vertically, materializing superior visibility and operability.
3. New features, such as the SET-UP screen and display of the descriptions of adjusters, materialize user-friendly operation, ensure reliability, and allow saving of prep time from mounting of mold to staring of mass production.
This machine utilizes the high cycle property of a toggle mechanism while possessing the characteristics similar to the straight-hydraulic clamping system: "linear pressure toggle" made possible. As parts of this function, the automatic clamping force adjustment function and direct clamping force setting come as standard. The former automatically adjusts clamping force fluctuations due to rise in mold temperature during automatic run, and the latter permits changing clamping force during automatic run. In addition, it offers improved yield by its high precision metering control (i.e., a selection of one of the control modes, "pre-pack" or "precision metering," is possible).
2. Electric Type High-Speed & High-Pressure Injection Molding Machine "NEX220Ⅲ-18EN"
This is a high-speed high-pressure specification machine with a 2160kN (220ton) clamping force, which was developed from NISSEI flagship electric type injection molding machine "NEX-Ⅲ Series." This is ideal for the production of smart phone, tablet PC, IT-related, and other electronics components that require lighter weights and thinner walls. To illustrate the molding of thin-wall casing using a high-speed high-pressure injection molding machine, molding of tablet PC casing (1 cavity) will be demonstrated.
The greatest features of this series are its improved injection performance customized for thin-wall/precision parts molding and its new controller "TACT Ⅳ." Injection performance is upgraded by the high-speed injection unit equipped with a low inertia servomotor, materializing faster speed and higher pressure injection, and "TACT Ⅳ" controller controls high-speed high-pressure filling optimally, making it capable for molding thinner and higher precision products. New controller "TACT Ⅳ" is equipped with a larger screen, newly designed operation panel, and convenient & easy-to-use premium software, offering improved workability/operability and reinforced quality/production management functions.
