Acquisition of Second-Tier Subsidiary

- On April 1, 2022, NISSEI PLASTIC INDUSTRIAL acquired their second-tier subsidiary "NISSEI (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.," which was previously owned by "NISSEI PLASTIC SINGAPORE PTE LTD," and reestablished it as a first-tier subsidiary.
1. Purpose
The second-tier subsidiary "NISSEI (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD." (hereinafter referred to as NMS) was established in October, 1977 as a subsidiary of "NISSEI PLASTIC SINGAPORE PTE LTD" (hereinafter referred to as NPS), which was established in September, 1976.
NMS had been conducting business mainly in Malaysian markets as a local subsidiary. NMS has been upgraded to the first-tier subsidiary in order to cope with recent changes in economic climates in Singapore and Malaysia as well as comprehensively meeting the needs in changing regional markets and serving its customers.
Accordingly, NPS, which is NISSEI's subsidiary in Singapore, restarts business as NISSEI’s overseas branch (Singapore Branch).
