Basic Policies

NISSEI’s Efforts to Achieve 17 SDGs

As a Environmental Management Project, NISSEI is making companywide efforts to achieve the seventeen SDGs in each department, with particular focus on the following SDGs.

NISSEI aims to achieve the following goals regarding the natural environment through their SDGs initiatives.

  • LIFE BELOW WATER

  • LIFE ON LAND

NISSEI has been working on achieving the following goals to accomplish the Goals 6, 13, 14, and 15 related to the natural environment, with a final goal of 17.

  • NO POVERTY

    Example
    NISSEI proactively promotes sales in emerging markets, providing safe, secure, eco-friendly, affordable, and high-performance products to local companies.
  • QUALITY EDUCATION

    Example
    NISSEI offers training classes in Japan, China, USA, Thailand, and Mexico, providing opportunities for people around the world to learn about injection molding technologies.
  • AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY

    Example
    Solar panels have been installed at the head factory, Thailand factory, and NEGRI BOSSI S.P.A., using clean energies for their productions.
  • DECENT WORK AND ECONOMIC GROWTH

    Example
    NISSEI is developing effective HR strategies by promoting work style reform, training staff for the globalizing market, and implementing job rotations.
  • INDUSTRY, INNOVATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE

    Example
    NISSEI promotes energy saving in all aspect of their business: development of technologies and molding methods, machine design, procurement, and production processes.
  • REDUCED INEQUALITIES

    Example
    NISSEI is implementing various measures to create a comfortable working environment for all employees. These include the enhancement of employment systems to suit the life stages of employees, such as childcare and nursing care, as well as implementing a global personnel system that includes domestic and overseas group companies.
  • SUSTAINABLE CITIES AND COMMUNITIES

    Example
    NISSEI holds BCP drills every year including the group companies and subcontractors to minimize damage from natural disasters, creating a system that enables NISSEI to resume business operations as quickly as possible after disasters.
  • RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION

    Example
    NISSEI hosts educational activities, such as holding lectures at community gatherings and visiting schools to educate students about the marine plastic issues and benefits of recycling. NISSEI develops eco-friendly molding technologies and promotes the wide uses of eco-friendly molded products.

NISSEI's Approach to Sustainability

NISSEI Group recognizes that making efforts to achieve sustainability will open the doors for new opportunities and reduce business risks. NISSEI is committed to their CSV management and will continue to take sustainability challenges with the aim of solving social problems and improving corporate profitability.

Basic CSR Policies

NISSEI Group values their management philosophy: “As a global company, NISSEI will enrich communities through plastics.” Based on this principal, NISSEI goes on a quest to find the “ways of molding” and explore the possibilities of injection molding technologies in order to help all nations and industries.

1. Environmental Consideration and Response

In order to proactively implement eco-friendly measures as a group, NISSEI has set company-wide environmental targets in accordance with their management philosophy and environmental policy, making ongoing efforts to achieve these targets.

2. Contribution to the Local Community and Responsibility to the Next Generation

NISSEI Group explores the potential of injection molding technologies and enriches the societies by sharing the benefits of plastics that help all nations and regions.

3. Compliance with the Laws and Regulations

NISSEI Group complies with domestic, foreign, and international laws and regulations, as well as to understand the intent of these rules, conducting their business with sincerity and integrity.
